Developer's Information MusicMagic provides many opportunites for developers. This page describes a brief overview of some of the options available. Integrating with MusicMagic Mixer The MusicMagic Mixer provides an open HTTP based API to access some of the functionality of the Mixer from other applications. This has been used to add MusicMagic support to the SlimServer, as well as to integrate with iTunes (using AppleScript). Details about the api are available online. SOAP Services Predixis can provide access to MusicMagic technology via SOAP services. Details will depend on your specific needs. MusicMagic on Embedded Devices Predixis has a small, embeddable MusicMagic core which can fit easily into the smallest of MP3 players. We currently have a version available for SigmaTel processors, which will be included in the next generation of Entempo players. The core is written in C, and is easily portable to other platforms. For prototyping purposes, the MusicMagic Mixer can also provide a web-based mockup showing ways in which MusicMagic can be integrated with devices such as cell phones and car stereos.
